Plastiglomerate, a fusion of fine sediments with melted plastic, reflects the fractal of plastics we live in. The acrylic form was inspired by the topography of the Pacific Ocean, specifically where the most amount of plastic emerged from. After heat deforming the acrylic, it conformed to the natural environment of the rock. The remnants of the rock peeking through the gaps of the acrylic exposes the risks of pollution and its damage to the environment.
