Under the concept of absurdity, I was inspired by abstractions of female anatomy. While the hook may appear stable, it drops when you place a jacket on the hook.

I created the box comb design through Rhino. Then, I assembled the laser cut pieces into a box. In the next step, the hook was designed, then 3D printed in PLA. To make the hook fall intentionally, I transformed it into a lever by adding a smaller hook on the other side. After it was spray painted in hot pink, I designed and 3D printed screw on caps for each end of the dowel. With the spring mechanisms imbedded inside of the box, everything was assembled.
